Our Craftsmanship

Every Lunel collar begins long before it reaches your hands. It starts with the careful selection of premium Italian vegetable-tanned leather. Each hide is individually chosen for its structure, texture, and richness of color. No two are ever the same.

Once selected, the leather is opened and inspected again under natural light. Only the cleanest sections are used. Every piece is cut by hand to preserve the integrity of the hide and ensure a balanced, precise shape.

Soft suede is then selected and paired to complement the outer leather. The layers are carefully bonded with water based glue, creating a collar that feels smooth against the skin while maintaining strength and structure.

Each strap is measured, shaped, and detailed by hand. Holes are set with precision. Hardware is carefully fitted and secured. Edges are smoothed and finished one by one, a process that requires patience and control to achieve a clean, refined line.

Before leaving the workshop, every collar is stamped, cleaned, and inspected again. Only then is it carefully wrapped and prepared for shipment.

From selection to final packaging, a Lunel collar moves through more than a dozen hands-on stages. No shortcuts. No mass production. Just deliberate craftsmanship.
